The Government of Goa published notification due to current crises on account of COVID-19 pandemic as force major the Government of Goa has considered extension of validity of Factory licences and deferment of payment of license fees as under:

- The validity of factory licence has been extended up to December 2020. The fees towards the same can be paid in December 2020, without any interest.
- For the extension of validity of factory licence  up to December 2021 upon submission of application and proof of payment of deferred licence fees. After conducting inspection as per the prevailing rules in force, the validity of factory license will be extended up to December, 2021 without payment of license fees (deferred up to December, 2021), without any interest.
