The Governor of Haryana has issued the following regulations under Section 2,3 & 4 of the Epidemic Disease Act,1897 regarding COVID 19 (Corona Virus Disease 2019).

The Government has issued the attached Notification and especially point no. 12 the regulation is as under:
If any case of COVID 19 are reported from a defined geographic area such as village, town ,ward and colony the District Administration of the concerned district shall have right to implement below mentioned containment measures, in order to prevent spread of the disease.
- Sealing of geographical area.
- Barring entry and exit of population form the sealed area.
- Closure of schools, offices and banning public gatherings.
- Banning vehicular movement in the area.
- Initiating active and passive surveillance of COVID-19 cases.
- Hospital isolation for all suspected cases.
- Designating any Government Building for containment unit for isolation of the cases.
