The Karnataka State Government had declared holiday for all the Government offices, banks and commercial establishments on the occasion of legislative assembly elections on 12th May’2018 in Karnataka. This move is to facilitate the maximum participation of voters in the assembly elections. The notification states that all the employees working in commercial establishments, industrial undertakings and other set-ups are eligible for a paid holiday on 12th May’2018.
