This is to bring to your information that Government of West Bengal in consultation with the Finance Department has decided to dispense the provision of fees for renewal of license under the West Bengal Shops and Establishment Act, after the expiry of the licence period. This provision would be followed with immediate effect as per the Notification issued on 31st December’18. All the applications entered online for renewal of Shops and Commercial Establishment licence under the West Bengal Shops and Establishment Act, after the date of effect of this notification shall not be imposed with any renewal fees.
