This is for your information that the Labour Commissioner of Delhi has released an order dated 15.03.2022 for the timing of opening/closing of the shops as per section 15 under Delhi Shops & Establishment Act,1954.

As per this order no shop can open beyond the closing hours i.e 11 pm as prescribed under section 15 of Delhi Shops & Establishment Act 1954 without taking exemption from competent authority. In case of any violation (beyond the closing hours i.e 11 p.m),the concerned JLC/DLC will issue notice to proprietor/partner/manager.
