The Minimum wages in Maharashtra for Factories have been revised. The notification highlights are as below:-

  1. The Special allowance will no more be a part of minimum wages applicable to Factories w.e.f 30th Aug’2019 to 31st Dec’ 2019.
  2. The Basic wages have been revised as per the notification w.e.f  30th Aug’2019 instead of revising Special Allowance.
  3. A separate notification would be issued probably in the month of February’2020 to declare the New Special Allowance and would be applicable from 1st January’2020  to 30th June’ 2020
